Thrill again to the exquisite sounds of Cantiamo! at this year's "Concert For A Winter's Eve." This season Cantiamo! is celebrating Conductor Cheryl Anderson's 20th year with the group and as Director of Choral Activities at Cabrillo College. The concert's theme: "Earth, Rain, Wind, and Fire," inspired the choices of powerful and compellingly beautiful literature. Some of our favorite composers: Schoenberg, Eric Whitacre, Raminsh, Britten, and Morten Lauridsen are on our bill this season. Inspired by the elements, these works are infused with passion, tenderness, and spirit. Don't miss this premiere vocal ensemble in concert:

Saturday, December 17, 2011, 8:00 pm at Carmel Mission Basilica.

This highly select ensemble performs music from the full repertoire of a cappella and accompanied works of the past six centuries. Cantiamo's audience travels from nearby San Francisco, Monterey, and Silicon Valley to hear performances in the beautiful Monterey Bay area of Santa Cruz, California.
